I am experimenting with the glass fragments, sorting them into colours and containing them in used coffee glass jars. These are 4 outcomes in different locations within the landscape. I don’t think this is the direction I would like to go with this work. But you have to try to find out.

DAY 4 [pm] I thought it’d be a good time to take the collection of objects and fragments that I have dug up out of storage. Before now I hadn’t seen the entire hoard in one location. @thestable_gallery has kindly provided a space for me to record this unveiling.

The garbage is now clean, perhaps too clean?  Tiravanija Rirkrit discusses the negative outcome of museums removing the meaning from objects, of taking the objects out of context. Meaning is use, and in order to truly understand the objects they require to be useful.
